The overall mission of Project Nonna (derived from the Italian word for "grandmother") is to engage parishioners who are inactive within the parish due to circumstances beyond their control, such as mobility. Through regularly scheduled visits, Project Nonna provides access to the sacraments as well. Also, while members of this ministry do not provide medical care, those who are medical professionals can afford counsel on how to access the care that is needed. Project Nonna, while focused on the elderly, is open to all people in need.
