Readings for the Nuptial Mass or Ceremony
You need to choose one reading from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Readers for the wedding liturgy will read from the Lectionary, not from typewritten sheets.
Readers are asked to be present at the wedding rehearsal so that there may be practice. If this is not possible, they must see the priest twenty minutes prior to the wedding.

Please note: On days that are Sundays or Solemnities of the Church, the Mass of the day must be used with its proper readings and prayers.
During Lent, no flowers may be used at the altar, nor any additional instruments other than the organ. During Passiontide, all the images in the church are covered in purple.
